Delivery Destination

Ruth's jewellery can be delivered worldwide. Your shipping address with be asked for when you place an order, depending on where you live the shipping costs will vary, so please ensure you choose the correct country for delivery.

If you require multiple delivery addresses then please contact Ruth when order placed to arrange despatch and discuss costs.

Shipping Charges

For items delivered within the United Kingdom Royal Mail Special Delivery is used. Parcels are insured up to the value of the items purchased. Prices vary slightly depending on the total value of the goods.

Up to £500 - £7.00
Up to £1000 - £8.00
Up to £2500 - £9.00

Shipping to countries within Europe will cost £10+
Shipping to all other destinations will cost £12+

Estimated Shipping Times

UK - Next day delivery by Special Delivery. Parcels are guaranteed to arrive by 1pm and require a signature.

International - Airsure & International Signed For services. Parcels take between 3 and 7 days, depending on destination.

Postal addresses must be accurate and complete to guarantee delivery. All payments must be received and authorised before shipment.

Customs Charges

International customers are responsible for any duties and/or taxes that may be imposed on the item on arrival at the destination country. Ruth has no control over these charges.

Order Times

All the jewellery is made to order personally by Ruth. You will be informed of delivery times after the order has been placed. If an item is in stock it will be posted within 2 working days from cleared payment. Items that are made to order can take 2 to 12 weeks, depending on which piece. An email will be sent to confirm dispatch along with a tracking number to allow you to check on your items progress.

Ruth will do her best to meet any deadlines if you require an item for a specific date.To ensure your request can be met contact Ruth via email or telephone before you place the order.

Where are my goods?

Contact Ruth if your jewellery is not delivered to you in the agreed lead-time. She will give you information on the progress of your order. If you include as much information as possible about the order, this will help speed up the process, contact Ruth for an update.

Returns Policy

If your jewellery is damaged in transit or faulty when it arrives you must notify Ruth by email or telephone within 7 days. Give your name, address, information about the fault and if you require a refund or a replacement. Ruth will then contact you about the next stage in the return process.

If you want to return an item that has arrived to you in perfect condition you must return it to Ruth within 14 days of receipt of item. The item must be sent back in its original unworn condition. Failure to do this will mean that Ruth is unable to accept returned goods. Ruth will arrange a repair, replacement or gift certificate as appropriate. Refunds are solely at Ruth's discretion.

A ring ordered in an incorrect size cannot be re-sized due to the one off bespoke nature of the making and stone setting process. If the item is to be replaced or repaired, Ruth will make it as quickly as possible but this will depend on her workload. We regret that earrings (due to hygiene reasons) and custom made items cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the item is damaged in transit or incorrectly supplied.

Please note that each product is handmade by Ruth Wood and therefore unique, slight variations are part of the unique character of the work. All stone set rings, pendants and brooches are unique one off pieces, no stone setting can be replicated exactly and stones may vary in clarity and colour.

In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method that you paid within 28 days of receipt of the return.

A parcel that is being returned is the customers responsibility until it reaches Ruth. To insure against loss or damage of an item Ruth recommends returning it using Royal Mail Special Delivery service (if abroad Airsure or International Signed For). Ruth will refund your postage only if the item is faulty or an error has been made on Ruth's part from the original order.
